Clerk Refuses to Perform California Marriage Ceremonies

The NY Times reported Friday that Ann Barnett, the Kern County Clerk, is refusing to hold ceremonies for marriages effective June 13 – just before the first same-sex marriages are scheduled to begin the following Monday.
